Seldom you are forgetting that I live on the border. They are many good places to hunt in Canada that is a closer drive for me, than if I hunted in the US.

Hey guys, I'm not familiar with the 20 Tactical, but I know that a lot of folks messed with the 20s in the fifties and sixties. I believe that Ackley had a 20 magnum... They were responsible for bunny huggers getting together and determining that .229 was the minimum bore diameter allowable for hunting in lots of places. I would sure be interested in seeing a picture of the case and maybe dimensions. Is that available on line?

Hey Danr, it's a 223 necked down,and the forming die also puts a 30' shoulder on it,I think.

That's very interesting... It's also very similar to the 20/222 remington that was done some 40 years ago.. I believe the Ackley version was done on a 35 Rem. case. Looks like you guys will be shooting "dime size groups" when this comes to fruition...
