A second trip into town, and the price of diesel went up again...$4.399/gallon.

Yep the 12 mpg diesel truck looses favor to the 30+ mpg Subaru for sure.

$3.69 here. Was $2.38 in January and $2.52 in February.

3.89 for diesel at one local station yesterday...honestly a bit surprised as it had been higher at other stations recently.

Still 3.89 diesel last night...everyone else 30 to 40 cents more.

Figured out why...hyper local price war going on. A dealer affiliated with a much larger business across the street from the one with lower diesel has dropped prices in comparison with everyone else in the area. Gas is a side business for them they can likely take the loss esp. If sales go way up. The station I use is across the street from it.

Taking advantage while I can!
