"what a shame" or "what a waste"

I agree with Dinkshooter on Draftstuds post...simple, true, and to the point.

A native Montanan couldnt have said it much better.

Buzz - But you know all about California and can lump all Californians into one large clump of shit? You are clueless and ignorant.

It's okay for you to leave Montana for the same reasons I stay in California.... (????)

The fact of your birthplace, an event you had nothing to do with, somehow makes you superior to others born elsewhere.

You don't live in California, were not born in California, etc. ...but the same rules you wish to apply to me don't apply to you. (were you in CA when all the idiots and jerks moved here from other places, driving up the price of real estate? Do you have any idea what the percentage is of 2nd or 3rd generation Californians that make up the population versus the "dickwad transplants" who have moved into this state????)

Right.... and I am the one clueless. Uh-huh. I simply make the same blanket statements that seem to be so popular by the Montanans about others.

A Bull or Buck smashed on the freeway should show us where we have failed. John

I don't know - the fact that there are bulls and bucks around should be celebrated.

Not to mention the jobs don't pay shit because all the out of state dick wads will work for nothing

same thing here BS.....the sad part is most of our out of state dick wads are too stupid and think they are making a lot of money .....hell even the people here that cant find Montana on a map can out smart the dumb ****s coming here for the "high paying" jobs.....they sell them some old run down row-house for 200g+....tell them its historic, expose some interior brick, sand the old hardwood floors...throw in some stainless fixtures and wait for an idiot to knock on the door....gotta love it! ;)
as far as Im concerned, your still welcome here.....Bad Manners and all. :D

Calif. Hunter,

Show me where I made dumb statements like yours concerning local issues in California...

Yeah, thats what I thought.

You like to pretend you understand issues like the outfitter/leasing issues Montana is currently facing because you live in California? You know better than the people that are living in MT, grew up in Montana, and lived a large portion of their lives there?

Really, so what Montana based wildlife organizations do you belong to? How many times have you hunted MT in the last 20 years? How much money do you give MT each year to help solve the problems?

Give me some qualifications as to where and how you come about your opinions on this ONE issue.

What a joke.

What issue are you talking about, Buzz? The one in this thread?

I think the fact that there are large bulls and bucks is something to celebrate. I can't have an opinion on that?

Back to the topic, I agree with Bambistew on this.

I get so sick of animals that arent killed by a hunter being "a waste".

I think, that in any healthy ecosystem, and in any healthy population of PROPERLY managed game...some should be eaten by predators, some should die of old age, and other such "wasteful" ways.

If bucks/bulls, etc. are dying of old age in a hunting unit...everything they need to survive is there and functioning properly.

Every critter in the woods does not have to be hanging in someones rafters.

But don't get animals mixed up with trees. Any tree that gets burned up in a fire is a "waste" when it could have been "harvested" and ran thru a pulp mill to keep 18 people employed dumping warm water into a river designed for salmon and steelhead..... |oo

Calif. Hunter,

If its good enough for you that there are "large" bucks and bulls around...well, good for you.

I think its a bit more complicated than that..but hey, I'm happy you're happy.

Funny, Buzz just continues to dig himself in deeper and deeper. :D

Most everybody can see the idiocy in his posts but who wants to comment just to have Buzz say you have no right to have an opinion, because you weren't born in Montana. Why is it that a person has to be born in Montana in order to understand the issues there?

Ca. Hunter, I don't know why you even waste your time with him. His arrogance will never cease to amaze me. |oo

Washington hunter...dont mistake confidence with arrogance...remember last time you made that mistake?

Oh, and to answer your question:

Why is it that a person has to be born in Montana in order to understand the issues there?

Take a good look in the mirror for the answer....because its obvious you just dont get it.

Sometimes you have to move away just to remind you of how great of a place you came from.

I never hear of people wanting to move back to California. But then again I don't talk to hippies, stoners, gays, metrosexuals, bottle water freaks, and whatever else dwells there.

I'd rather work a job I hate and live in the state I love, then work in a state I hate and have a job that "affords" me to visit where my heart and mind is.

Sadly like bambi stated, most areas that we love the most do not offer many career opp's.

I would comment on the "waste" topic but I think we covered this one already?

umm... what?? Who dat? who der?
Are you guys serious?
Back to the question, yeah, I guess it is a waste but not because a hunter didn't take them. Just because they were laid down by an 80mph buick.

I'm a 5th Generation Bitterrooter, my boy is a 6th. We live here because it's home. Everything is here I need. The money sucks, life can be hard at times. Especially now that the dick wad Cali-fornicators can't afford to move up here and build a house. My children will have to move away if they want higher paying jobs that affords them the chance not to struggle all their lives. I've never known a difference so it doesn't bother me.

The fact of your birthplace, an event you had nothing to do with, somehow makes you superior to others born elsewhere.

Cali's finally got it.

The truth though is it just makes your insight different.

I hate seeing road killed animals. That's a waste, or a wounded lost animal, that could have been utilized if the dick wad Californian would have found it. :D

Wow.......I guess that's what I'm doing wrong. I need to go to WY or MT and learn how to hunt from you boys? Do I have an invite? :)

Any animal, no matter what the trophy status, that get's killed by a natural predator, dies of old age or falls off a cliff is not a waste, it's the natural order of things. Any animal that get killed by a car or truck, rolling down I-15, then lays to rot because freeway traffic scares away the buzzards, now that’s a waste. If it happens to be a 190 class buck, that’s a shame.

You need to move to Texas Roy, and hone your skills hunting animals behind a fence, like a real man.

It is a 'shame' you xenophobic pukes 'waste' so much bandwidth with all your pitiable state specific chauvinism. All the western states combined wouldn't comprise a fart in a whirlwind compared to the economic, resource, or intellectual property impact of one of Mother Texas' major cities.:D

...damn, I can't wait to get out of here to go elk hunting next fall!;):D
