Elkchsr, I noticed that you are back posting again. Are you all moved in to your new place? How's the new job? Any pics yet?

Edit: Elkchsr, I couldn't find the "New Life" thread so I posted this new one apparently before you posted on your other thread. I see you've posted and answered the above questions on that other thread.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier Curley...

This place is starting to be better and better every day, the pics will be taken today and probably not posted until next week.

This place has a huge amount of neglect in places that need attending; I will be posting before pictures here in my office for those by this time next year who complain things around here aren't changing.

I have our club house almost completed from the mess that they had started last year in a re-build project.

This place is a little remote for most people I think, but what-the-hey, they pay me good.

I have been mowing the heck out of a bunch of it with Roundup and shortly the sound screaming by millions of trees will be heard in the woods around here as 10,000 of their brethren hit the earth in a creaking groaning mass of tree flesh, sawdust, and flying wood debris.

They will then be ripped apart in my chipper, chopped into pieces to be sold off and burned in campfires every where, or just sent off to the mill to be chopped into little pieces so tree huggers every where can enjoy nailing their carcasses into their little castles of glass.

By this time next year, I should have around 100-150 yards of concrete covering many places which once stored all sorts of life, but it will cut down on my maintenance costs so there is a big plus to that.

Change in the right hands can be a mighty thing indeed, things around here that have been the norm for 30 years have come to a screeching halt and shortly I will have a tow truck going around picking up vehicles who's owners are sneaking in for a good time on my dime. ;)

The sun has been out for the last week and every thing is coming to life, yesterday, I saw a dozen baby geese following along behind their mothers, I'm sure more is soon to follow.

Last night on a walk just a quarter mile away, I found a pile of bear scat that would fill a top hat and is bigger around than a silver dollar.

!!! My-oh-My !!!

Hey Russ, I was going to call you this weekend if you were going to be around ? Glad to hear that you like the new place so far. That Scat might be from a Grizz or a realy stuffed blackie. There are a couple of good places to hunt them around you ... I will give you some areas if you are interested. Hell Kevin can show you most of them too. Let me know, Talk to you sat or sunday..

Hey Robert...

It's not a secret... just getting settled in first, have let a few know the place, but I will be posting pics fairly soon

Cameron, you get a minute, just give a call, we have been getting bear sightings all over the place in the last week, they have been coming out of the wood work around here and not until around ten in the morning.

Thanks Dix... :)
