Weekend Double on Bears

I ended up having a quick season this year. Had my first sit on a Friday afternoon and ended up shooting one. Then Saturday I went to a friends BBQ so didn't hunt. Sunday I went up to the other bait site and shot another one. I guess it was nice not having so much traveling back and forth. But then...thinking. Dang, done hunting now till fall. My uncle and dad both got one as well. I don't think there is any lack of bears out there. Saw plenty of them that didn't get shot.

On a side note...anyone else have bullet holes in their bait barrels?

And that, my friend, is why God created Trout/Bass/Walleye/Crappie and inspired a man to invent the fishing rod. Besides, diversity in meals is a good thing !

Nice bears congrats. At least you don't have to wait long till fall hunting and like gunner 46 said there is some good fishing to be had.
