We just can't pass up a cheap savage, this one is a Stevens 300 Win Mag (savage 110)

We have a thing: anytime we run across a savage for under $200, we get it for a doner. This one is a 300 Win Mag. We just rebarreled a 6.5 Creed to a 358 Win. Today, we finished the break-in, with 250 gr Speer, we got 2350, and all 1" or better, not bad. I plan to shoot 220 Hammers. The boy did a 3006 change to an 8mm x57. He got a box of FMJ to do the break-in; he got about the same for groups. The GD has a Ruger we did a 7mmx57 AI, and it's scary accurate. This one, we are thinking of a 6.5 swede AI. What's the thought on that?
OR maybe a 250 3000 AI?

From people, private sales. Sometimes there are estate sales, even garage sales.

I’ve got a few under $300 but not below $200. Dang! Wish I could find a left handed 110 for that cheap.
