A friend of mine drew on a moose this year, which is a once in a life time deal if you kill one in Idaho. He also built a bow for the hunt. Just got a call an hour ago telling me that he got his moose.
He shot it with a 69# homemade longbow using a wood arrow weighing in close to 700 grains.
The only bad thing was I wasn't there in the bush to watch. That would have been way cool to be there. As soon as he gets back with the pictures I will post them.
