Couple, three ducks from this afternoon. Can’t believe I am killing GWT here in NW CO in January. I’ve only ever killed them here in early to mid October seasons past.
Waterfowl, let’s see them!

I think right around thanksgiving is the latest I've killed them here.

A little slower than last week, and a lot colder. One drake fell from a bluebird sky.

Back at it this morning and a few more birds. It was 5 degrees this morning but that didn’t stop Creed from making a few great retrieves in any icy river.
A few birds from some recent hunts, 2026 has started off a bit tough.
The "Pintail" spot last Monday, I've been having some competition getting to the spots I wanted to hunt, and not shooting that great. Been missing a few high shots, should have had another pintail.
The river on Wednesday with a pair of Mexican Ducks and a Canada. Only saw 4 ducks all morning.
Back to the Pintail spot Thursday, did not get many shots and couldn't cash in on a chance at a double on pintails. I also shot a snipe, first one in several years.

Got my first goldeneye and a new o/u yesterday!
Should've had a full 2 man bluebill limit, but my shooting was sub-par.

I've only killed them in late December or January.
Granted I'm farther south than both of you

Irrelevant, and I got out this weekend. Great couple of days to share a blind. My son went saturday. Decent little shoot Saturday, started out hot today, and then shut down. Three of these were the dogs while we were picking up, she just kept finding them and bringing them back. Irrelevant behind the camera.

My Son and I finally got out. It was a new spot for us. Birds were a little tough to come by , but we had a great time and got a few anyway
