Well, I really didn't WANT to do it, but I did.....the Form 1 for my POF is submitted. Since I use it for hunting it will be nice to swap the brace for a stock and I might even add a v-grip. Truth be told the biggest reason I didn't do it to begin with was the $200 app fee so I guess I'll just chew on this and be "kinda" happy. Lord I hate the very existence of the ATF in it's current form.

Ive been debating on building a SBR AR or just do it as a pistol. But a stock feels way better than a brace.

I'd hold off on doing anything with a brace until this new ruling gets settled in court.

I did two lowers this week. The worse I figure is I wasted my time. Best case is I saved $400.

Makers of good stuff.......mine is a Rogue 12.5 in barrel in 7.62x51 (discontinued as a pistol-SBR only now) that shoots sub moa groups and is under 7 lbs with the optic on it. It will pick up a couple ounces when it goes from a pistol brace to a rear stock.
