Is it next to public?
No closest public is 25 miles. Couple subdivisions within walking distance to the one. The other i have zero idea where they came from im at work now. Behind the gentleman with the deer cart 3/4 a mile is my house. Wife said there are no vehichles in the field lanes so I have no idea.

This drives me crazy. I do run into people on public sometimes but they have a right to be there. People on private is a different story. My brother had a guy walk right in front of him during spring turkey season. Guy had no idea my brother was there until he said something. He didn't even know he wasn't supposed to be there. 🤯

Tbh it makes me feel unsafe as can be. Hunting public you know there could be anyone anywhere when you walk in. Being on private different story. I hate leasing but I understand why so many people do it in areas of little to no public.

I've found that when things like this come up a lot of time it results in "no hunting" for anyone.
Absolutely true. Trespassing has become rampant in the area I work, such that we now have the second most posted county in the state. Listening to the blatant arrogance of these folks when confronted by the landowners boggles my mind. A lot of these landowners used to feel pretty strongly about allowing people to hunt too. But I can’t say I blame them for changing their minds, given the disturbingly high incidence of unlawful and unethical behavior today.

Yah people would rather just not deal with the drama and kick everyone out or lease it to one party and I can't blame them. Another thing I see is when landowners give access to more than one person. People can't ever play nice amd they all end up losing access over some jackwagon. When I see that coming anymore I usually just step aside and hunt slowly fade away from that spot. It's not worth the headache and I know exactly how it'll end.

Wonder if you talked with the lady and tell her about what you saw. Ask if she would like you to be her "caretaker" and take care of any trespass issues for her so she doesn't have to deal with it. If she agrees, see about getting something simple signed for you to have when confronting someone. Just a thought.
