Drew a CWMU buck deer tag this year. I'll sign this tag over to my nephew and hopefully get him his first buck!

So, unsuccessful for a general tag. Not unexpected, as it's only my second year applying.

I have a question, though: Is the general buck application an actual drawing where I still have a (small) chance of getting a tag? I thought preference points systems just went to those with the highest number of points? I don't fully understand how all this stuff works.

General buck in Utah is a preference point system. Highest point holder gets the the tag.
