“This saga started in 2007 when Mark Robbins gated a road on his property to stop trespassers. That action caught the attention of the Public Land Water Access Association, a nonprofit that exists to sue landowners to take their property.” -Chuck Denowh

Cry me a river...UPOM is nothing but a bunch of bullies that have all their neighbors guilted into cooperating or be shamed. The article should be a message to those who blocking legal access that it will cost them respect and money but of course it's an opinion piece written by the UPOM's own representative so they had to make it sound like they're the victims. UPOM wanted to be compensated for elk use on private property but locks public access to public lands that, in theory, would help reduce elk populations. Let us not forget that Robbins is an outfitter...so convenient

Don’t lose sight of the goal Schaaf...

I was unaware of this case until recently. It seemed like PLWA had a good case, any thoughts on why it went 5-0 against them?

Mark Robbins was also a huge opponent of limited NR archery elk permits in the Breaks.
