As a child one of my Daddy's brothers could not pronounce Brother so he call him Bubber, well it stuck and all I ever heard when we we around his family was Uncle Bubber this, Bubber that. It was as if he never had a real name, Nolan R. Harrell.
Daddy was 81 when he passed away last night. He gave a good fight, but at the end it was too much. I was able to get my words in and he was able to say "I love you too". So as things go and they must go no matter what we wish for this was a closing of sorts.
All the great memories and a band of gold will keep me company with my Daddy. John

I'm sorry for your family's loss, John. I know it has been hard on them to watch his health declining. Hope that they can find peace with his passing.

Sorry for your loss my friend. Sounds like you have a heart full of legacy.

...prayers sent John.

Sorry for your loss. Glad you were able to share the family love in person one last time.
