Truck Camping Elk Hunt must have Food.

I usually score some discounted steaks through the summer and freeze em. Ribeyes and New Yorks, couple with some veggies and potatoes, hamburger rice and gravy is always a go to as well. The way I figure I've done enough hunts where I'm counting calories and weight when backpacking that if I have the opportunity to eat good I do. Always kinda fun cooking in cast over a fire or stove to.

There's no 💩 burning in my fire either, so things usually taste pretty good.

I also seem to drink an absolute shit load of 16oz. beers....... not sure why🤔. Seemed to work out this year pretty well.

Serious question.

Have you all had Cabot?

Tends to be a bit regional, but costco carries it, I implore you make the purchase.

you've piqued my curiosity with the recent threads for sure

looks like my nearest costco, safeways, target, and walmart have it

once i polish off this block of medium white cheddar tillamook i'll give it a try ;)
