I had you join this forum just to reply to this. I worked for Rick in 1985 and things never change. I have searched him on google several times since the advent of the internet and nothing ever good pops up. To the guy who talked about a country singer, Rick actually was a back up guitarist and vocalist in Nashville at one time.

This Story sounds a lot like that country singer that used to try to sell people oceanfront property in Arizona and if you bought it he’d give you the rights to the Golden Gate bridge for free !!! Someone’s always trying to work an angle, all these stories always end in the same way. Jail , arrested , fines etc …. how is it that nobody seems to come to the realization that they’re not going to be the one lone individual that beats the system, whether it’s Wall Street or Main Street eventually you’re going down. Count the cost .
How many movies over the years have they made about similar type stories but we all know the ending.

i gotta hell of a story about huntin with rick in 86 at guffey colorado but i hate typing so ill give you a short version...saw the ad in out door life mag called him up said he was a cowman and was hunting on his cow lease which appealed to me cuz i was a cowman too..showed up it was a cluster...california hunters and others on the hunt of a lifetime...no game rick crying dry weather but it wasnt...i saw it was a scam and decided to shoot meat and get the hell out..i killed a small 5x5 that i saw 3 times and a 3x3 deer within 10 minutes...had to teach the guide how to gut...next year i got copies of outfitter complaint forms from colorado and drove 500 miles from nm to guffey and put them on the hunters beds at the same camp...next year he changed the name of his business to his wifes name....hes an asshole...funny thing about hunters me included your passion outweighs your caution
