OK. Pictures attached. Had to post-hole my way out to some pines in my backyard. Still have about 2 feet of snow across the level but, should give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Like widnert....I leave the poles at home to reduce weight. I just wrap strap around tree or loop over a limb. Sometimes grab a branch to prop against the decoy so it doesn't twist in the wind.
