Colorado Split Draw Starting 2028

Do you have to apply then every year to make sure you don't lose your 3 points? I know other states if you don't apply after a few years than you lose them
From the Big Game Brochure: POINTS ACCUMULATE until you draw a first-choice license. If an applicant fails to apply for a species or has not purchased a license for that same species during any given 10-year period, all accumulated preference points for that species become void.

Question about the changes for 2028 on a group app is there any changes to point averaging or are we still going in with the lowest point holders number? @Oak ?

so how will the bonus draw work for colorado?similar to arizonas 2nd pass? will points still help with a lower random computer number? or will points keep squaring up like nevadas system? or will it be purely random like wyomings random pass?

It will be names in a hat, so your points number plus 1 for current app. No squaring/cubing. But your points will help in the bonus draw.

Not to thrilled will burn my points in next 2 years. I have collected enough to hunt the areas I want don't know if I will be able to figure out what I need in the future
