There is a stretch of rural highway here I call the gauntlet. Deer and elk both. I've seen them hit in broad daylight. In the dark it's a slow ride if you are smart. mtmuleyGlad you’re okay. He comes through the windshield and it’s a different story.

True. I've salvaged a couple deer. More than half bloodshot.Not sure how much meat you would have gotten.
