they're at it again in Wyoming -

once again, another POS trying to wrest publics lands out of the hands of shareholders:

Have you looked at land prices there recently? Sagebrush anywhere near anything is at a premium. Reading the article sounds like they are putting some thought into this, not just a give away.

There may be more to it but the headline doesn’t justify outrage or calling a person a POS.

This is absurd. It’s like student loan forgiveness meets the lottery. Short-sighted and impossible to enforce and administer long-term, screwing every Wyoming taxpayer and public land owner for the benefit of like 200 people.

State has a Housing shortage but make sure the bill limits the housing density to one family per 10 acres!!!? I smell a rat. Follow the money on this one.

The bill would ban commercial and industrial use; “multi-family” residential use, such as apartment complexes; short-term rental units like Airbnbs; and an arrangement that would yield a density greater than one family per 10 acres.

oh, you're right, I should of said asshole

So you have 20 years before you are required to live on the lot, but it can be sold without restriction after only 5 years of ownership? So someone would be able to get up to 25 acres for $25, hold it for 5 years then sell to anyone for any amount of money.

And doing it in the name of a housing shortage but keep density to no more than 1 family per 10 acres is total BS.
