WHEN WILL IT END???????? I'll be so glad for 11/04

I just hope the Dems put some focus on reversing the impact of the public land assault and gutting of regs protecting habitat and populations of critters.
I don't think that will evens scratch the top 10 things that are on their minds right now.

It will be a fight to get the president to sign a budget.

Iran

Fuel, energy, food prices,

Medicaid, Medicare funding

Military funding.

Its going to be a long 2 years me thinks.

Add Epstein to that list, but I think environmental issues will rank really high with them. I heard it from a lot of voters
yesterday being interviewed on the streets all over the country.

Add Epstein to that list

That topic will be interesting to follow. They sure didn't do anything about it with the biden admin but now the precedent has been set and they got to play good guy when Trump was fighting it like Trump did before he had to put his money where his mouth was.

The gap from 99 - 01 in released files still exists. Dot com crash, 2000 election (with some controversial happenings in Palm Beach County, where Epstein had a place), and 9/11. There was that one interesting email to Ghislane maxwell asking her if she wanted to be on the 9/11 shadown commission of which they couldn't share other members..

Some people just cannot resist telling everyone just how stupid they can be.
You may be reading a bit too much into my sense of humor, but it's a slog getting through a major campaign season and perhaps better to just let it die quietly. Happy to be done with it. Enjoy your hunting!

I do not know what our new governor has shot. If she only has an 870, I might donate a double barrel to her. But what I do know is that her father, Jim, was the outdoors writer for the Star Tribune, when I was a kid and the only column I read in the paper as a youngster because it was all about hunting, fishing, and the outdoors in general.
She's been hit and miss on conservation issues but never was in a position where she had her party running everything--and in MN that means everything now. But her party has some extreme folks that might block some things. It appears that some type of ban on assault rifles and large mags is a certainty now..that won't affect hunters for the most part though and I trust her ability to avoid impacts that do. My main concerns are with ag issues--she's smart and knows them but tends to align with farm interests when it comes to environmental changes impacting them. It might take care of itself due to over-harvesting and looming crash of the timber industry.... but I also worry about her willingness to restore sustainable management to our forested state lands.

I always thought it was cool in Minnesota how they have the governors opening day fishing event and opening day pheasant hunt. And it’s not just a photoshoot.
They have a governors deer hunt too, but in recent years conflicts between the kill all the wolves people and that event have affected it. Hoping she'll take an interest in building it back up.

She's a big proponent of the BWCA, maybe she will have a "Governor's Canoe Trip"
