Indian Larry and I have been trying to get to Kodiak for over 24 hours now. Flown there twice and returned to anchorage both times. This mornings flight is delayed too and no alcohol till 10. Such a rough life.....

Call your WY buddy while you're killing time and AK Ambers. And then go kill some goats and deer.

After the booze and 3 lines of coke in the airports bathroom I'm pretty sure we know who would be riding bitch.....Larry

Flight cancelled....kodiak trip off.

Now what to hunt, sheep caribou or moose?

Wow, you guys give up too easy, heck you only waited one day. The charters are flying now, I can hear them taking off from Lily lake and Trident basin.

Next flight is tomorrow so at least 2 days burned just trying to get to kodiak. Isn't looking good tomorrow either. I'm not complaining though, it could be worse. Like living outside AK...

...now there's a play by play announcer I can tune in to. Sounds like an Arlo Guthrie song....co-written with Waylon.

Sorry that's Kodiad, and many other areas of the state. Been a pretty nasty September so far, 6 inches of rain the first 8 days. It was sunny yesterday afternoon and decent today after the fog lifted around 10. Anyway good luck on whatever you guys decide to hunt on the mainland.

Ya sucks we didnt make it out but tomorrow would of been our 3rd day at the anchorage airport and with weather in kodiak they were saying we may not make it out till tuesday. I already have a goat on the wall so i dont feel to bad about letting the tag go. I guess saving 1500 in airfare and going sheep hunting isnt that bad of a trade. Ill be back in kodiak in may for bears anyways :)

Being weathered in/out of Kodiak was a pain in the a$$ when I lived there, which seemed like 2/3 of the year. However when the sun was out it truly was a magical place.
