Holding a sign that says “no elk here; but free dances”
Word of advice swaggyd, don't polecdance on the trailhead sign. Yer gonna chafe and get splinters if they are anything like ones here in MT. And we aren't gonna have time to pull splinters.

I’m just so excited we went see a pink hat in a Subaru now. I’d most likely be wanted for hit and run if I seen that.

Now I’m looking forward to seeing a little blood on that new Toyota tailgate.

Don’t go full Nebraskani with the bloody tailgate, and over the license plate. Just a few drops. Those of us that know, will tip (our non pink) caps to you. 😂

Well… the prison pink made an appearance at the range!

First three shots went into two holes!

It got real touch and go there for a minute though… CHP heard there was a prison pink situation at the range and rolled in 8 cars deep!

They ended up being cool, even discussed my suppressor and some gun laws.

Then got back to the sight in process.

Felt pretty good with that off the spartan bipod at 100. Especially after not shooting for six month.

Decided to have some fun and reach out a bit too 500. Just bipod off the bench. Should have gone prone because I missed a few by an inch or so.

Ok, so hunt number one is 7-10 miles deep and I’m hoping to reduce the number of trips out. I posted a few pics on the metal working thread but for all intents and purposes the elk cart is finished up. (Minus the recommended brake from a few, but may keep it this way)

Put it to a little practice since one of my guys was over training for a tree climbing competition… for some reason it won’t let me add the screen shot of the video but I’ll try to figure it out. It went well but glad the meat won’t be 3 feet off the cart and with the weight over the tire it should be great!

Edit: just ended up loading the video

I was wondering about it tipping from side to side. Looks like it could be real handy.
