In a drinking establishment.
Stopped at my *watering hole* tonightt to meet a couple of freinds....
The owner/barkeep was talking to a guy and I overhead them talking about hunting in OR. The guy was talking about hunting so I introduced myself to him. Seems that we have the same things in common. It is as much (as least to us) sitting around a campfire and being able to *unload* the crap everybody has on their back and listening to the old timers of hunts past. After a short discussion found out he is from the *West Side* of OR, but wants to retire in the La Grande area in OR, or the Emmett area here in Idaho. Cool guy and has his priorities straight. As we talked both of us were on the same page as far as dragging the oldtimers up for their last hunt hoping that we had kids/grandkids willing to do that for us.
I am fortunate enough that I have one SIL and one grandson willing to do that.
Any of you old pharts out there lucky enough?
