As soon as he sat down, he put on a big pair of headphones and stuck his nose in his phone. Stayed that way the entire flight. I guess if I was as unpopular as he is, I wouldn’t want to interact with my constituents either.

The junior senator from UT, who I didn’t recognize, was sitting directly in front of me. He was one spot ahead of me on the upgrade list though .

I was surprised recently to read that Lee had very actively tried to sabotage the nomination of Trump at the 2016 national convention, claiming he was a major threat to the country and our democracy.

Maybe I shouldnt have been. Long list of former detractors/current butt kissers in their party.
