The Idaho Turkey and Spring Bear draw results

I'm probably the only guy on this site that applied but thought I would mention the draw results are available anyway. Here’s a link. http://www2.state.id.us/fishgame/hunt/ch/chdresults.htm
Even after 4 years of applying I still can’t draw one of the Eastern Idaho turkey tags. Maybe my luck will change next year and I will have the opportunity to hunt turkeys in the spring without having to drive 6+ hours.

Yeeeee Haaaaaaaa,
My 11 year old daughter drew the Unit 38 tag.
I even have a place or two to hunt!!!!!

I did not draw this year, and nor did my sons, thinking about driving to the other side of the state to hunt, but that is a long way to drive to shoot a bird.

I've drawn the unit 38 tag in 2001 and 2002. Both years I wacked nice birds on the WMA. Both years had lots of opportunities. If you are looking for places to go where the birds hang out, I can help.

Thanks, I have had a few places in my hip pocket should she draw. I pulled a great coup however..I gained permission to hunt a 1500 acre farm that has NEVER been hunted for the birds. He has a resident flock of 75+ or -. They have been dying of old age. I'm confident she'll have unique opportunity to hunt unmolested birds and potentially have a whack at a whopper.
For now gotta get ready for Bass Tournaments and the NWTF banquet.
