The Great HT 2026 weigh in.

Thanks a lot for the insight and experience! I’ll check out iwalk and was planning to supplement too. Not sure a guy can find the 157 very easily anymore unless you have tips..

I’m really hoping to be fully healed for archery elk, but your experience makes it sound like I may still feel some repercussions, and I kind of expected that..

Insurance wouldn’t pre-approve today’s surgery in time, so not sure when it will happen now, absolutely ridiculous. Each day surgery is delayed feels like eternity to getting on with the long healing process.

Found the old email order, I had purchased capsules from epothex.

The great gym rush of 2026 has already dwindled off.... Still a little busier than usual but mainly just hanging with regulars again....2 weeks all it took

We didn’t really get one this year. Which is off especially with how nice it has been usually people don’t like knocking snow off the car at 4am

221.6 this morning down to 14% bf my workout sucked yesterday so I stuffed my face. I ate all the food I had packed for my day plus I got a taco salad from a local joint. Woke up leaner body must have really been needing it

208.6! Took my first shot yesterday so I'll see how hungry I get today and try to squeeze in some more protein. Going to try a recipe @Perlodid posted in the healthy eating thread for Middle Eastern Rice tonight.

We have a bathroom scale that is supposed to read body fat. I have a hard time believing the accuracy of it.
If it doesn’t have a thing for your hands to hold also I highly doubt it’s correct. Even this one isn’t 100% but for my goals it give me a great base line and a lot of information to work with

@Gellar off topic, but we need to discuss and breakdown the current state of Hawkeye Wrestling
I have a lot of thoughts. I posted a few thoughts over on the 2025 NCAA wrestling championship thread.

I’ve typed about 7 things about holding something in my hand when I weigh myself and none of them have been appropriate. So I delete.

I'm in, 176, up 1 since starting the climb back up. Shooting for 185.

Late to the game,,,, I've been 232 for longer than I can remember. Last year I hit 240. Not happening so worked my way down to 225. I celebrated back to 232. I'm tired of the sore knees and back so got down to 214, just not 2 days in a row. I'm hovering 215-216 now. At 73 I'm not going to start a crazy diet or any of the wonder drugs. I kinda doubt I'll see 200 but that gives me a target anyway.

I’ve been avoiding this thread. But the accountability will probably be good for me. I’ve been overweight my whole life. Decided I’d like to get to 195 by September this year. Last time I was under 200 was 7th grade.

I’ve been lifting weights five days a week. Going to start mixing in cardio two days/weights three days. I’m on week two of no sugar. That makes a big difference. Going to focus on protein and fiber dense meals and cut out snacking.

I’ll post a scale weight to this thread once a month, and will change my username to Fat Piece of Shit if I don’t meet my goal by September.

This is where I was at this morning:
