Roth IRA. Get one. You can set it up through Fidelity, and do it today. Learn the rules, and let it grow. Max it out when you can.
The prefrontal cortex doesn’t fully develop until 25. That means you aren’t “you” yet, and anyone you meet isn’t either. People in your life will change, and that’s fine- just recognize when it happens. Which plays into the next two.
Be careful who your friends are. You will pick up their habits and become more like them every time you hang out.
Be very careful who you date and marry. Don’t rush into things if you can avoid it. Especially if you go military- most of my military friends got married young while in the service, and divorced not long after. Not every girl you meet will have your best interest at heart. That isn’t a pass to be selfish, but a warning to get out when you can.
