If you can get to camp with a vehicle, you can enjoy Thanksgiving dinner outdoors. I did this dinner on a camping trip. You are not restricted to cooking turkey with this outdoor oven.
Add 4 rolled tubes of wire mesh. Form the rolls around PVC and wire them shut. Re-bar pounded in the ground keeps them standing. Wrap with foil to create the oven. Will with coals and light. A disposable aluminum pie tin under each tube make clean up easier.
Add a turkey and fixings. In the future I will wrap the wing tips and drum bones in foil and remove foil for the last hour.
Cover the top with foil to hold the heat.
