I have never been over there and was curious on the landscape. Would it be comparable to the breaks? or would it be not as rough, or rougher? Also does it have all the pine trees that the breaks have or is it a lot more open country? How bout the deer populations good/bad better north or south of I94

Here is the Terry badlands. In the last 10 years it has become a very popular destination.

Have spent some time in the Terry Badlands and plan to spend more. Nice place. Have never hunted there but I doubt it is over looked. Likely not much different than any other public land in Eastern Montana. Fun to hunt but truly big deer are hard to find.

That some pretty cool looking country. How about places to set up a wall tent, anywhere where there is any cover?

Beautiful, lonely country.

I used to hunt antelope on the edge of it every year. It's definitely some unique country. I'd love to go back and hunt it for mule deer one day.
