Tell me about the Tikka T3

I have a couple I like them. Still need to improve the loads for my 300 wsm.

H4350 and 180-200gr projectiles. Mine is throated for 215 Bergers and swapped to long action bolt stop and mag. Tikka is the perfect platform for this cartridge.

I got a pound of h4350 to try out. Hunted with IMR4350 and barnes 175 lrx last year and some did some target stuff with 168eldms. Eventually I'm going to put a 20" 1:8 on it to be a 300 super wsm.

You don’t need a 8tw barrel unless you are shooting those bore riders, specifically. 1:10 will spin up to a 230gr Berger.

I have only two T3's but I'm thinking hard about a .243. The current rifles are 30.06 and .223. I have the same scopes and mounts on both and use the .223 for fun shooting and coyotes, I burn a lot of rounds through it. My idea is that with having them set up the same I get tons of practice without shooting lots of 30.06 rounds.
