WOW!

My appointment for cataract surgery was at 9:00 and was back home a little before 10:30. Pulled the tape at 12:30 and started on the drops. Only thing bad was the double vision so took a couple hour nap. The thing I am dealing with now is seeing some halos, but other than that everything is crystal clear. Can't wait to get behind a spotting scope.

If you have ever considered it, get it done. Piece of cake!

I've been hounding my lead estimator for a year to get it done. He goes in next Thursday and will be a new man by the following Monday morning. Watching him squint and short arm blueprints has been excruciating. Stubborn tough dude he is.

Glad yours is over native...do what the doc says. Sleep and and don't rub em.

He will be kicking himself for waiting also!

Congrats! Though mine wasn't for cataracts, but having my vision surgically corrected so I don't have to wear glasses/contacts was the best money I've probably ever spent. Just wish they'd have corrected my vision so that when I looked into the mirror I wasn't so disgusted....

HAHA!!! Dont sell yourself short. There must be something about that vision that your wife is okay with.

Yep Pointer, laser astigmatism correction is nothing short of a miracle...best dough I ever spent. Of course after seeing what I really looked like makes me hesitant to encourage my lovely bride to fix hers.;)

HA!! Ditto on the dough remark (but not the rest of it!)

Update-
Post-op exam was this morning. I now have one eye that is 20/20! Told me it would be two years for my other eye to get bad enough to have it fixed. PTL for good insurance, also! Today is a good day!

Very glad it has been a great success for you!

After two years of Obamacare, will there be any medical plans left for us other than a single payer (gu'bment) plan?
