A number of federal agencies have banned celebrations related to MLK Jr. Day, Women's History Month and other such observances to comply with Trump's executive orders.
"Today, I am very honored to recognize February 2025 as National Black History Month,” Trump wrote.
“American heroes such as Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Thomas Sowell, Justice Clarence Thomas, and countless others represent what is best in America and her citizens,” he added. “Their achievements, which have monumentally advanced the tradition of equality under the law in our great country, continue to serve as an inspiration for all Americans.”
Sounds like an evil plan to get rid of it to me.

I think he is referencing this. You think it is ok because Trump still declared today Black History Month. All most of us see is contradictions and confusion. I'm glad to see he is starting tariffs. Disappointed in China only being 10%.

Time told me it was no big deal previously, so the change and memo wasn't necessary. Its sole purpose was to appease those enraged by the letters D,E, and I.

I agree, but I also feel DEI is one the best tools of division out there. (Just look how much it played into this past election) The idea in theory sounds great but it hurts everyone including the ones it's supposed to "help". You can't force racist people to stop being racist. DEI has not got rid of one racist in the USA, but i guarantee it's created some.
