I listen to most of the above postings, especially Dave Stamey. I love Californio cowboy music, plus Tyler Childers and Colter Wall are always on repeat. A couple notables I’m surprised haven’t been mentioned are Blackberry Smoke and Uncle Lucius with these 2 tracks

These dudes did have commercial success being recognized as one of grunges big 4. Althoug they all hated the term coined for them after the bands were already established.

After Layne Staley died they took a 5 or 6 year hiatus then came back with singer Robert Duvall who they have been making great music as a band. You wont hear them on the radio anymore but these guys have been churning out great music since the late 80s.

Charlie Robison was big in Texas before having to medically retire...maybe better known in some parts as the fat Dixie Chick's ex, I'll miss him performing coz I don't think any audience had a better time than Charlie did while telling stories with a guitar.

Up until recently I had a commuter car that was so old it didn't have an aux port or bluetooth so I would use an FM transmitter plugged into my phone for podcasts. Well one day I was driving down the interstate and started to get some interference and a song came on from another car. It's pretty relaxing.
