It has been a couple years since I was able to get some decent swift fox pics. This morning things came together.

Cool! Did the adult give the rodent to the younger/smaller one?

Vole was dropped off when the kit ran up to the road as the female returned. The kit then took the food to the burrow. There were 3 kits that I observed.

The evening before, I caught the female eating an unknown bird. It had some issues getting it down. Poor pic due to crop and grass, but you can see birds parts.

Ironically, after the female took off for more hunting, a mallard hen and 8 or 9 ducklings passed within 5 yards of the den.

A modern day John James Audubon, but instead of #10 shot, he uses a VR lens. Nice images Miller!
 
Awesome pictures man! I was hoping to see one this winter as I was working up north. How often do you see them or are they pretty tough to find?
