The hats are beautiful, but gotta ask, are the little hairballs just for decoration or do they have a purpose?

I hate wasting fur, those are easy to make out of small remnants. Supposed to go on hats or scarves, or other pieces as accents but my personal preference is without pompom. So these are mostly decorative.

People actually really like them for some reason. I wouldn’t have guessed. I’ve seen people use them for zipper pulls, key rings, Christmas tree ornaments

With all the time I have into putting up the fur, getting it tanned, materials, and sewing time- probably like $100

Could you get a measurement across front to back? Should be in the realms of 6 7/8”-7 3/4”? That’s a huge margin just to reference. My head is a pretty consistent 7 3/8”. I’m sure just a circle circumference measurement could be easily converted. Seriously, very good looking hats.
