Don’t know much about fly fishing, but my son had to “do something he’s never done before” for a school project so he picked that. Dug up an old fly rod I bought for backpacking 20 years ago, and put a grasshopper on a leader twice his age. Cool colors on them and fun to see him catch his first one on a fly.

Had to refill the blackening seasoning for walleye tacos.

I was born in Shelby. The Hi-Line is some amazing country. Full circle someday maybe. It is a tough deal for me though. Put me in the dirt where I came from, or in the place I put bulls in the dirt.

My dad ended up in parts of CA,TX,OK,FL and I still have a bag for Vietnam. We didn't William Wallace him up though cremation and scattering ashes. I work in Hospice you'd be surprised how many believe in resurrection of the flesh or at least have a strong dislike for the thought of being burned up after death.

Mostly wheat. Some barley. All dry land farming for the most part. mtmuley
