The 54 will be out the first week of October. (I’m not brave enough to grab the flintlock as my first choice) Not sure about elk hunt yet. It may be center fire.

I shot my .50 cal kit gun about a dozen times yesterday.

Was in NYC for a wedding this weekend and got in a little urban hunting of invasive spotted lantern flies.

My first kill. Didn’t even ruin the thing for a trophy mount.

Decent bull I watched tonight. He was not very photogenic for me. He had 14 or 15 cows and calves with him and was working them pretty good and keeping a close eye on them already.

Big iron work horses are cool. I need to get the brush away from this one. 2 years ago I had it cleared, now can't see it in the bush.

I was checking a game camera and as I reached behind the tree to undo the strap I felt some thing soft and moving. The first thing I thought was a Bat, then this guy leapt off the tree trunk and let me take its picture!
