You are earlier than J.C. Penney or Sears used to be with their Christmas catalogs.

My wife and I went to Wally World on Labor Day. Our Wal mart had moved all the grills, outdoor furniture, garden stuff and had replaced it with Christmas stuff. Loudly, probably to loudly, I said WTF Christmas decorations? My wife reminded me with all the shipping issues that was all they probably had to stock that area with.
