2.5 years and easily approaching 300 miles on foot in this hunting/scouting hat , it’s my go to, originally was a nice bright brown and gold lettering, ha ha , anyone else got a favorite that’s there fishing or hunting hat ?

the cool thing about my hat was I ordered one born and raised’s tagged out bull elk hats for my dad for Christmas in 2018 to celebrate his branch bull that year at 77 years of age , and they sent that one by mistake , they told me to keep it , then sent the one I ordered for my dad , I never intended it to be my outdoor hat , it just happened

That’s Awesome! I “met” Ryan Callaghan yesterday hahaha saw him run a light in Bozeman and caught up to him.. he was on the phone with no regard to traffic and I Hollered and said Cal that you?? He smiled big and pointed at me driving 40 on Main st and that was that. Wish I could have got an autograph or photo like your wife! Guess I still get a little star-struck. lol

How bout Thursday Roosevelt’s ! I Was bored tonight so I went up for a little two hour trip up and over the top of the mountain close to home to look for deer and elk and last glassing point found some elk , I was standing right on top of a small herd 11 to 13 cows and calves






One of the cool things I got to witness tonight was a coyote popped out on this old grass logging road about 100 yards from the elk , it obviously been shadowing the group, the Calfs are all now way over 100 pounds and the lead cow would walk right down the road nonchalantly right at that Yote and he’d take off running , he wouldn’t let them elk get any closer than about 100 yards , At one point he laid down in the middle of logging road and just watched the herd and I was able to get a couple pictures a little blurry but you can still see the Yote , neat interaction to witness
