Spent the made up holiday ice fishing then skiing. The kids finally rode the lift together. Made brauts and instant mashed potatoes on the tailgate in the parking lot. They were hits. Everyone agreed, great day.

A herd of Roosevelt Elk down around Astoria on the side of the hwy running around and feeding on some private , nothing out of the ordinary about elk feeding on private, Except this herd just happen to be standing around feeding in front of the ranchers advertisement of beef for sale ! Ha

Is that Hardware Ranch in Utah or the Nation Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole ? I've been to both after completing January cow hunts in Utah. Pretty cool being so close to those critters !!

This was the elk refuge in Jackson. Definitely worth the trip for sure.
