Sunday Pic of the Day

The Glacier thread prompted me to look at some pics from a couple years ago. Been awhile since I posted any goat pics. I liked this one. Ferocious nanny. :D

It makes you wonder just how you bail off a steamroller when it gets out of control. I looked for bones...
Yeah, hopefully you can jump off, on the uphill side before it starts rolling.

I worked with an older guy who did a lot of heavy highway construction in the 60's and 70's, he said that fatalities from runaway equipment like that was a pretty common occurrence.

I escaped the Portland metro area this weekend, which is in the grips of the worst snowstorm in years , and made it over the mountain to the Oregon coast and a little cabin I rented for the weekend.

the road to the coast was mostly a ghost town we had the highway to ourselves

46 on the coast while back in the metro area it’s 4-10 inches of snow with some areas experiencing a ice storm as well and mass power outages , I’m feeling lucky , my morning walk with the wife

and then I came across the biggest jellyfish I’ve ever seen in my years of walking the coast , there were 5 of them about 10-12 inches across and inch and half thick

and then I found this pink jellyfish about 5 inches long 😲, never seen one like this either , and that’s all I’m gonna say about that , the beach is always an experience. One thing I do know , it’s not a WHALE 🐋 LEG
