Caribou Gear

Sunday Pic of the Day

I'm fortunate to be friends with the owners of one of the most productive passes on Lake Christina in Central Minnesota. Canvasbacks migrating out of Canada make their hard left turn for the Eastern seaboard here and at any given moment for a stretch of about 3 weeks, the lake can hold more than 100,000 of them. Not to mention all the other diver species that take a layover here. This day produced some Redheads, a Spoonbill, a couple Ringbills and a Blue Winged Teal.
