I have been squirrel hunting twice this fall, and I didn’t see a squirrel on either hike (saw a decent buck and a black bear sow and cub though). I went deer hunting yesterday, and I had squirrels all around me.

Do you have a handgun or straightwall season in your state or just up for a challenge? I've always wanted to try handgun hunting but I struggle enough with a rifle

One of these days I’ll get a deer or elk to come close enough for the .44. I’ve enjoyed packing it around lately.
