Sunday Pic of the Day

We just got through the longest cold spell I have seen in close to 30 years, with temps dropping into the negative mid-teens. Last week was the first time I had seen the ground, because of snow, for over three weeks (unusual here). I was outside with a flashlight tonight and saw movement on the ground. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

In my part of West Virginia, it snowed before the ground could freeze, got cold (13 below on the way to work one morning), then warmed up (57 degrees on the way to work a week after the low), and then rained a bunch. Weird weather.

Looks pretty chilly in your neck of the woods.

I'm envious, wishing for one day a week to fish the river.
Mild Nov/Dec here, but they forecasted below average temps and above average precipitation for remainder of winter.
So far just as they predicted.
Snow pack must be strong, haven't heard stats, though.
Thought you were in Washington, surprised at the crawler pick.🙉
