String stop

Is the sting supposed to touch the string back stop or should there be a gap?

I always thought supposed to be a small gap - 1/16" or so...

My Bowtech manual explicitly says it should touch. The aftermarket one I put on my Mathews said about a 1/16" gap. I think it kind of depends on the design of the stop.

Yep. As temps change and/or strings stretch and your ata changes so this will give yourself leeway.

When I set mine up it said to leave a gap the diameter of a credit card. There should be daylight between the two, just a bit.
