Moving Trends for 2025

It's a bummer that the places with the most and best habitat are seeing the most conversion of habitat for housing.
Every - Freakin'- Day.

I'm watching the next corner crossing suit in the making. Big money buying up historical places to build a hegemony. Lot's of blurry lines with their posted ground and public. Places I taught my boys to hunt.

No listing or for sale signs. No competition. Just old ranches flipping ownership in OnX.

I'm most ticked because that was my plan when I won PowerBall.

I can say my sister is planning her CalExit to SC. The taxes sold her.

Those of you thinking Idaho is the last great free place should really look at our taxes before you jump.
That and she has already experienced the whole wife beating, long haired, pot smoking, gun owning, Idaho redneck thing.

Some interesting results, and some predictable. One of the biggest gainers is South Carolina, while one of the biggest losers is North Carolina. Explain that one?

North Carolina has confusing and shit gun laws (but getting better). SC has a far better political structure, Governor checks and balances. Less regulatory friction, weaker executive power, more permissive carry laws, and more consistent, restrained courts. Nicer people. Better climate.
