We have 4 chickens and we're getting 3-4 eggs every day. I guess it's nothing to worry about. Are they laying less often? More time in the vent could be leading to more calcium deposits.
Maybe one of your chickens is a greedy asshole? It could be true but I would think since all the chickens are eating the same thing more than one would lay eggs like this.![]()
Well I hope it's not a "he" chickenI believe it's extra calcium as others have noted.
Also as he's age their eggs get larger. Their eggs also will often be less uniform is shape and the shells get thinner. That's about the extent of my poultry egg knowledge.
How dare you assume that chickens identity and orientation. Next thing you know you'll be shooting bulls and bucks that identify as cows and does.Well I hope it's not a "he" chickenbut they just turned a year old in May.
*Hens I corrected it.Well I hope it's not a "he" chickenbut they just turned a year old in May.
