After finishing up a few things two weeks ago, I decided that I'd take some time off and hit the rivers before runoff got in to full swing. Unfortunately, I was sidetracked with some family issues and ended up going to Cody to spend some time with my Father and help them get ready to sell their house and move to Riverton.

I did go through Ystone and made out over Sylvan Pass a few hours before another avalanche shut down the east entrance. Some reports showed as much as 35 feet of snow covering the top of the pass. Went back through the South entrance the day that it opened (5/13). This is the first time I've been in the park in the spring. Still a great place to live around.

Now it's time to plan that fishing trip. Looks like it'll be flatwater time.

I didn't get up high enough to find the topless goats doing shots of Jaeger and crying about how their dads don't love them anymore.

Apologies.

I did however discover why they are called "Whorey" marmots.

Filthy little buggers!
