Waterfalls should be at their peak, if that's of interest. Rock outcrop east of Gardiner along the river is a good spring lambing area.

Found it - thanks!Use the search function and find the 4 page thread on YELLOWSTONE PARK IN JUNE. Many of us familiar with Yellowstone posted some helpful information in that thread. It would be worth your time to read it.
Enjoy YNP; get on the trails. The adventure begins where the road ends!
I'm jealuous! This is on my bucket list. Hope you enjoy it!My wife and I are set to visit Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons this June for two weeks, this is the first time for both of us and we are pumped! Reservations are set and I have been doing a lot of research on what we want to see.
I do hope for any helpful up to date feedback on recent issues or conditions that would affect us this June. We are there June 1st through 14th staying half of it in west Yellowstone doing the south end and the Tetons, the second half on the north side doing the Lamar Valley and camping near Gardiner MT.
Any tips on the good areas to spinner fish for trout would also be appreciated!
