If I could had all the .22LR I shot at snowshoe hares in my youth, I would have a fortune in ammo. Love seeing kids having that kind of fun.

I usually give the rabbits away, but if I get a bunch of them I either make stew or jerky out of them.

Never thought of jerky. I have an abundance of rabbits and need a new recipe,what seasonings do you use for jerky?
I can cook the heck out of Rattlesnake,but tired of BBQ rabbit sanwiches and fried rabbit.

There's very little that can beat cottontail stew. I haven't been lucky enough to run into a hare yet so I'm not sure how to cook them. Maybe I'll have to give jerky a shot!
